video contestLas Vegas—Mohawk is kicking off its “Now That’s Perfect” video contest at The International Surface Event in Las Vegas. In partnership with the Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI), contestants are invited to submit videos showcasing how products from Mohawk’s Performance Accessories line are easy to install for a chance to win a $500 CFI scholarship to use toward certifications. During exhibit hall hours on June 16 and June 17, participants will have the opportunity to shoot professional quality videos with Mohawk’s video team at the booth, 6255.

“Installers are the backbone of the flooring industry, and no job is complete without them,” said David Moore, Mohawk’s senior director of accessories. “Performance Accessories helps make installation easier. Our products are engineered to fit right the first time, eliminate steps and reduce the tools needed during install. In Vegas, we’re inviting experienced, tried-and-true installers put our Performance Accessories line to the test.”

With in-store and online merchandising tools, Mohawk said it makes it simple for retailers and retail sales associates to pair a flooring purchase with coordinating products from the line—making accessories easy to sell, easy to order and easy to install.

“We are so confident in our Performance Accessories line that instead of hiring actors to install the products for our promotional videos, we are asking real-life installers and retail associates to record themselves installing the accessories,” Moore said. “We want to see how Performance Accessories can make your next installation perfect.”

The video contest officially starts July 1 and runs through September 1, 2021 where installers, retailers and retail sales associates can submit videos of themselves installing Performance Accessories and show their “Now That’s Perfect” moment. Ten installers will each win a $500 CFI scholarship and participating Mohawk Edge retailers can earn 12,500 bonus points.
