Dalton, Ga.—Shaw Industries shared key tips and tricks for cleaning professionals with ISSA, the world’s leading trade association for the cleaning industry. Jim Mannes, national director of Shaw Total Care, joined Jeff Cutshall and Jeff Cross, hosts of ISSA Media’s Jeff Squared podcast, as a special guest to discuss floor cleaning and disinfecting best practices across several flooring categories.
In the episode, Mannes shared his industry expertise and provided information on proper flooring care, floor cleaning and maintenance, including a closeup look at cleaning residues left on flooring. The discussion serves as a great resource for both cleaning and flooring industry professionals, according to the company.
“How you wash your dishes, how you wash your hair, how you wash your car…this is how you should clean your floors,” Mannes said. “The last step is rinsing and removing, and if you follow that protocol, you’ll usually be very effective.”
