Lee BlairSpartanburg, S.C.— Lee Blair, vice president of hospitality and commercial Americas for Milliken’s floor covering business, is the 2023 recipient of NEWH’s ICON of Industry Award.

Blair is a long-time veteran of the hospitality industry and has been involved with NEWH throughout his career. This honor speaks to decades of innovative thinking, a focus on mentoring, people-centric leadership and his passion for serving the hospitality industry at large.

“We are fortunate that Lee is a part of the Milliken team, and we congratulate him on his latest accomplishment.” said Jim McCallum, president of Milliken’s floor covering business. “I’ve seen the impact of Lee’s leadership firsthand for more than 40 years, and now we see industry-wide recognition of his efforts.”

He has been a part of multiple success stories in product development, which have made major changes to impact the industry. His accomplishments and dedication to making a positive impact on the world have made him a respected leader in the hospitality industry. Blair continues to challenge the status quo in processes and products with his leadership, ongoing mentoring and earnest passion for hospitality, truly making him an ICON of the industry.

The ICON Award is presented once a year to recognize a manufacturing partner who has exhibited dedication to the industry and NEWH through more than 30 years of service.
