Kennesaw, Ga. – Invista Surfaces, a segment of Invista Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M)and maker of Stainmaster and Antron carpet fibers, welcomes Melissa Minihan to its marketing team.

Melissa Minihan joins Invista as vice president of marketing, Invista Surfaces, for its Stainmaster and Antron brands. In this role, Melissa will lead customer insight, promotions and brand strategies that create value for our customers, and which build upon the equity in the 25 year strong Stainmaster brand and over 40 year strong Antron brand.

Minihan comes to Invista with experience in channel marketing, shopper marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing and strategic planning. Most recently, she was director of channel marketing at Newell Rubbermaid, where she developed deep market, shopper and channel insights to build brand equity and increase revenue at the point-of-sale with innovative shopper solutions across multiple distribution channels and multiple brands. Prior to that, Melissa was a senior manager at the The Home Depot in Atlanta, where she was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for product, brand and promotional initiatives for a decorative lighting and plumbing private label brand (designed in-house) and over 80 national brands. In addition, while at The Home Depot, she led the marketing strategies for the customer experience and marketing on homedepot.com.
