Lancaster, Pa.—Armstrong Commercial Flooring won the 2011 Readers’ Choice Award for flooring from Today’s Facility Manager (TFM) magazine.

“The highest compliment is being recognized by customers for a job well done,” said Dominic Rice, vice president, Armstrong Commercial Floor Products. “In a world where choices have to be made every day, Armstrong works to make the flooring choice easy with looks that customers want, superior performance that is easy to explain, and products that are easy to maintain.

“Our customers need solutions,” Rice continued. “We work hard every day to earn their business.  We strive to be the first flooring resource facility managers, designers and architects consider, and the flooring brand they request because they know Armstrong can provide the right floor for their needs.”

To evaluate preferred suppliers, Today’s Facility Manager distributed links to two online surveys—one aided and one unaided—to more than 42,000 of its subscribers via opt-in email. Facility managers were asked to indicate which company they rated highest based on product aesthetics, product reliability, value and customer service.  The survey includes 45 categories, from doors and hardware to ceiling tiles and lighting, with only one recipient named in each category.

“The Readers’ Choice Awards program recognizes and celebrates first-class products, services and solutions within the facility management community,” said Susan Coene, co-president of Group C Media Inc., parent company of Today’s Facility Manager.  “To earn recognition and respect of facility managers who spend much of their working lives purchasing products and services for their facilities is an impressive achievement, and we congratulate all our winners.”

Since 1988, Today’s Facility Manager has established itself as a leading media brand serving the facility management profession.
