Titusville, Pa.—HomerWood has garnered three coveted ADEX (Award for Design Excellence) awards from Design Journal, a leading international design trade magazine. Competing from among a record 2,000-plus entries, HomerWood received ADEX Silver for Herringbone Flooring; Gold for its 100% Reclaimed Hardwood Flooring; and top-level Platinum for Smoked Specialties Flooring.

“Being the recipient of multiple awards speaks volume for the dedication that HomerWood has to its customers,” said John Moses, publisher, Design Publications. “Couple this distinction with the performance qualities of its floors, the company’s dedication to sustainable flooring products and its commitment to service the industry, and you have a winning combination.”

ADEX is said to be the largest and most prestigious award program for product design. Categories for this award include furniture, flooring, fixtures and finishes. Winners of this award are published in the highly anticipated April Design Journal.

“HomerWood is committed to developing quality products and innovative designs that have become synonymous with our name,” said Kathy Barker, vice president of operations, HomerWood. “Our customers are aware of our reputation and we are proud to provide them with the superior products they expect,”

Each ADEX category has potential for three award levels of platinum, gold or silver. Judges award points in several categories for each entry. Total points earned determine each product’s score. Minimum scores are needed to qualify for awards.
