NORWALK, CONN.—Metroflor Corporation announced the addition of Sabad La Serna as their director of technical and customer services. He will operate from Metroflor’s customer service center in Calhoun, Ga., and will oversee the departments responsible for installation training, technical support, warranty administration and sample fulfillment.

La Serna is an industry veteran, having spent a good deal of his career with Pergo and most recently serving as director of technical services for the Faus Group.

“Sabad brings a tremendous wealth of practical and technical experiences to our group and will have an immediate impact in each of these departments,” said Russell Rogg, president and CEO of Metroflor. “Sabad will enhance our installation guidelines and training programs; improve the effectiveness of our warranty resolution process; ensure we provide our customers with superior technical support, and oversee the revamping of our sample fulfillment process in terms of sample availability and shipment expediency. In short, quite the tall order. But we have the utmost confidence in Sabad and his ability to accomplish all that has been set out before him.”
