Surya, a progressive rug and home accessories manufacturer, recently announced it will reveal 200 new rugs during two upcoming markets: the Atlanta International Area Rug Market in Atlanta, Ga. on January 12, and the Winter 2012 Las Vegas Market in Las Vegas, NV on January 30.

At each of these markets, Surya (www.surya.com) plans to provide buyers and members of the media a first look at some of the most innovative rugs and home accessories that will hit retailers’ stores in time for the spring shopping season.

“Part of what makes Surya a progressive company is our laser-focus on designing home accessories that are relevant while timeless,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya, Inc.  “In addition, we have more than 10,000 SKUs, offering retailers an abundance of choices to meet their consumers’ tastes. As a sneak preview, Surya plans to introduce these three rugs:

1. Cambridge (CAM)
timeless rugs of the Cambridge Collection are an expression of expert design and true craftsmanship.  Hand-knotted in India from 100% wool comes the most luxurious and refined collection Surya has to offer. This opulent collection of rugs exemplifies the essence of traditional elegance.

Mezzo

2. Mezzo (MZO)Bright and bold colors combined with whimsical designs give the rugs of the Mezzo Collection a unique style.  Hand Tufted in China from 100% Polyester these rugs are exciting to the eyes, and can fit any price point.

3. Rant (RANT)
This unique collection shouts out for your attention. Featuring vibrant colors of splashy art, the Rant collection has a hard twist texture made of 100% New Zealand wool and deep carved details.

As new home sales continue to improve, Surya expects that consumer demand for fresh home accessories will expand. As a result, Surya expects the buying season at both markets to be more robust than last year.
