Dalton—IVC US has been certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI) as fulfilling the requirements for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management for the manufacturing and sales of vinyl sheet flooring for the commercial, retail and customer industries at its U.S. headquarters here.

IVC’s pursuit of ISO 9001:2008 status was led by its management team and supported by its employees. This leadership driven initiative enabled the company to complete its entire ISO preparation and evaluation process in a little over a year. “Our ISO 9001:2008 certification underscores our capability to work in a consistent and controlled way across our company, which results in providing our customers with quality products and service,” said Xavier Steyaert, co-CEO of IVC.

ISO 9001:2008 proven status provides committed manufacturing facilities with numerous benefits for achieving and sustaining high levels of quality and improved operating performance, he noted. Making the decision to pursue the criteria and assessment “will help increase efficiency, guarantee consistency and improve upon processes to save time, money and resources while increasing customer satisfaction.”

Said Cindy Southern, IVC’s quality specialist, “At IVC, we believe taking the initiative to implement a quality management system that complies with the ISO9001:2008 standard is a decision that anticipates the requirements of our customers and demonstrates our commitment to providing them with quality products and services.”
