Aliquippa, Pa.—Ardex Americas has introduced Ardex X7R rapid set, flexible thin set mortar. Ardex X7R can be used for setting large-format porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and most natural stone tiles in interior and exterior, floor and wall installations.

Ardex X7R is an extremely versatile thin set mortar formulated with enhanced properties of adhesion and flexibility, noted Harrison Gardner, Ardex Americas tile and stone installation systems business manager. “Ardex X7R has a creamy consistency making it very easy to trowel,” he explained. “It’s perfect for the everyday fast-track installation—grouting can begin in just two hours.”

Ardex X7R is ideal for use in showers, swimming pools and over in-floor heating systems, and is available in gray in 20- and 40-lb. bags at Ardex distribution partners throughout North America.
