Bonita Springs, Fla.—Dave Milanowycz, director of sales for Florida Tile, is the 2013 Ceramic Tile Distributor’s Association (CTDA) Hall of Fame inductee. The award was presented in late October during the industry’s annual Total Solutions Plus (TSP) 2013 convention here, which was held jointly by the CTDA, the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and the Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA).
The award is given annually to an industry professional who has demonstrated significant contributions to not only the CTDA but also to the industry in general.
To be nominated, one must be or have been an active CTDA member, and have demonstrated a leadership role in the tile industry, which reflects the CTDA mission.
The organization is an international association of distributors, manufacturers and allied professionals of ceramic tile and related products, which connects, educates and strengthens tile and stone distributors.
Milanowycz has been with Florida Tile for over 20 years, is actively involved in the distributor network providing leadership and sales guidance and is respected by the Florida Tile customer base for his excellence in training and face-to-face field time with showroom personnel and outside sales people.
Milanowycz lives in Howell, N.J., and enjoys time with his wife and two daughters when he is not in the field, selling tile.
