Wauwatosa, Wis. — Bostik,  one of the world’s largest manufacturers of adhesives and sealants, will officially launch its new brand identity, revolutionary adhesive technology and cutting-edge product enhancements during Surfaces 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Jan. 28-30.

“In many ways, Surfaces 2014 will be transformative for our company,” said Mike Jenkins, Business Director for Bostik’s Consumer & Construction Business Unit. “Not only will it mark the global debut of our new brand, but we’ll be introducing many new and improved products that reinforce our position as the industry’s technological leader.”

Bostik’s new corporate logo features a gecko, a creature capable of sticking to almost any surface at any angle, with a remarkably strong bond. The firm also has a new tagline, “Smart Adhesives,” reflecting its ongoing commitment to develop functional, efficient, innovative and sustainable adhesive solutions.

Seven new products will be unveiled. In addition to an active schedule for product demonstrations and displays, all products will be available for firsthand demonstration upon demand at Bostik’s Surfaces booth #B2845

After a comprehensive R&D program, Axios Tri-Linking Polymer Technology, a breakthrough in adhesion science raising the standard for single-solution hardwood adhesives, will debut. This state-of-the-art technology improves overall bond strength, moisture protection and sound reduction. Axios Tri-Linking Polymer Technology is easy to clean from prefinished hardwood flooring, both before and after curing. It is offered in two product formulations : Ultra-Set SingleStep2 and GreenForce.

Two new and improved urethane grout formulations, TruColor RapidCure and Dimension RapidCure will also be unveiled at Surfaces 2014.

Bostik Glass-Mate, a premium, polymer-modified, thinset mortar which offers superior bond strength, durability, non-sag properties and workability, will be introduced at Surfaces 2014, as well, along with GreenFusion2, a high-performance urethane adhesive ideal for many soft flooring materials, in particular rubber floors. PowerElastic, an  ultra-premium resilient adhesive that offers a sheer strength 3X stronger than its competition, will also launch at Surfaces.

Additionally, Bostik will introduce LVT-Lock, a mid-range solution that offers versatility of applications and performance (including resistance to plasticizer migration) at a very competitive price point.

All new products to debut at Surfaces – from Axios  Tri-Linking Polymer Technology and the RapidCure urethane grouts, to Glass-Mate and all the resilient/soft flooring adhesives – may contribute to obtaining USGBC LEED credits.
