Mesa, Ariz. – Longust Distributing recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Founded in 1974, Longust has evolved into a major wholesale flooring distributor with a presence in the southwestern U.S., serving California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and west Texas, with a wide range of flooring products.
The anniversary celebrations were held at Tropicana Hotel in Laughlin, Nev., where employees were treated to a buffet and chances to win numerous prizes, including a trip to Hawaii.
Steve Wallace, president, thanked partners Bob Bobertz, John Laird and Drew Mittelstaedt with helping put together the culture Longust has been known for. He also thanked and recognized founder Tom Longust for his continuous support and guidance. He then invited Tom to the stage to give an entertaining speech about the early days of Longust.
This event was a statement that Longust’s 40th anniversary is just the beginning and that they are in it for the “Longust” haul.
