Super-Click International has signed an agreement to distribute Super-Click, the world’s most versatile click vinyl flooring system, to two of the most reputable flooring distributors in Australia.

The deal to distribute Super-Click is shared between PR Floors and Flooring Distributors of Australia, also known as ‘FDA’. PR Floors, based in Brisbane, will distribute in Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania. Perth-based FDA will distribute for Western Australia (WA), Southern Australia (SA) and the Northern Territory (NT).

PR Floors and FDA have agreed that Super-Click will be launched through Carpet Court stores nationally. Both companies commented that by partnering distribution they are able to offer national retail groups a nationwide delivery service at one price across Australia.

PR Floors supply businesses in the wholesale and retail sector, in both the flooring and marine industry. The company, which celebrated their fiftieth year of business in 2011, distribute products for many recognized brands, including Forbo Kromennie, Polystyl Vinyl and Mohawk Carpets, to name a few.

Daniel Perrett, Sales Manager at PR Floors is excited that the company will be a distributor for Super-Click: “We have seen and also had the opportunity to distribute many vinyl plank click products, but have been reluctant to go into this market, that is until now, as we feel what we have seen before, does not offer the same quality, benefits and versatility that Super-Click does.

“We first saw the product in Hannover in 2011 and are very happy to now have the product going into the marketplace.”

FDA service the retail floorcovering industry, commercial contractors, marine dealers and trimmers, builders and architects. This deal marks FDA’s first move in to the LVT sector following the discovery of Super-Click at the Domotex 2012.

Roger Knowles, Director at FDA recognizes the potential of Super-Click’s unique locking system in the Australian market: ‘LVT technology has moved towards loose lay systems and Super-Click with its fast mechanical locking system provides all of the answers for our harsh Australian conditions.

“We believe that partnering with Super-Click International, to distribute the world’s most versatile locking system in Australia, is an important strategic placement in the LVT market for Flooring Distributors of Australia and with the potential to further develop the product offering ensures exciting future growth for all concerned.”

The deal for Australia marks an important milestone for Super-Click International. Stewart Procter, Chief Executive Officer at Super-Click International comment, “Having visited Australia on a number of occasions, it is very apparent that Australian consumers are amongst the most discerning in the world.  Australia is a very significant market for us as the challenging climatic conditions demonstrate Super-Click’s unique and versatile properties.

“In securing distribution agreements with both PR Floors and FDA we are in no doubt that not only are they best placed to meet this challenge, they also have the infrastructure and know-how to cope with the logistical problems distribution companies face when servicing such a huge country.”

The deal for Australia closely follows the recently announced major distribution agreement between Super-Click International and Jacobsen covering New Zealand. Super-Click International is due to announce further agreements for distribution in other markets around the world shortly.
