SelecTech passes independent test

HomeNewsSelecTech passes independent test
SelecTech Inc., a leader in the manufacture of innovative flooring products from recycled materials, has recently announced that their signature commercial and industrial static control flooring systems have tested to be the “best in class.”
In a recent scientific test study conducted by an independent static control consulting firm, SelecTech Inc.’s SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD commercial and industrial flooring systems passed resistance flooring/footwear tests with flying colors.
SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD flooring systems exceeded requirements for grounding personnel and ensuring minimal voltage during walking on static control flooring, particularly in environments of extreme sensitivity.  With a maximum walking voltage level result of seven volts, SelecTech’s SelecTile ESD and FreeStyle ESD are well under the 100 volts desired by companies handling ESD sensitive devices.
“These independent test results conducted by one of the most prestigious independent consulting firms, provides us with conclusive scientific evidence that our product exceeds the standards required for walking voltage levels in ESD sensitive environments,” explained Thomas Ricciardelli, the company’s president.
“Conductive, Connected and Grounded”
StaticStop ESD and FreeStyle ESD flooring solutions are versatile enough for a variety of static control environments from electronic manufacturing environments to mission critical environments such as Server Rooms and Data Centers; Federal and State Government Operation Centers and PBX, HUB and Call Centers.  Both are ideal for retailers, commercial buildings, government buildings, health care facilities, food service providers, schools and more.
Companies that utilize SelecTech’s StaticStop ESD and FreeStyle ESD flooring include GlaxoSmithKline, T-Mobile, Boeing, USPS, Dell, Crestron Electronics, Volvo and the Federal Aviation Administration.
SelecTech’s unique and innovative StaticStop ESD and FreeStyle ESD interlocking flooring solutions are easy to install and do not require messy adhesives, copper foil, underlayments or padding.  Both ESD flooring systems provide a simplified and convenient installation process that translates into less down time for facilities, which further translates into reduced costs and an improved bottom line.
