Dalton—Shaw Web Studio, a web-based program launched in summer of 2010 to help floor covering retailers enhance their own web sites, has been nominated as a finalist for the Marketing Award of Excellence (MAX Award). The MAX Awards are presented by the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in association with the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
The awards recognize outstanding new products, services, and marketing innovations initiated in Georgia in the previous year, and entries are judged by members of the Georgia State University Marketing RoundTable, which is composed of senior marketing executives from leading Atlanta companies. Shaw Web Studio is one of nine finalists for the MAX Award, and winners will be announced at the MAX Awards breakfast on Feb. 25 at the Georgia Aquarium.
“Retailers recognize the power of the Internet, but struggle with time, costs, and technical challenges,” says Misty Hodge, Shaw’s web services manager. “Shaw Web Studio offers customized flooring web sites, automatically updated product catalogs, microsites within existing sites, automated delivery of product images and information, among other features. Best of all, it’s easy to use and maintain, and it’s very affordable.”
The Atlanta Business Chronicle will publish a special section on the award winners and finalists in its February 25 issue.
