Dalton, Ga.—CFL North America hired Jim Freeman as its new technical services manager. Barron Frith, president, said Freeman’s proven technical knowledge and dedication to the flooring industry will only provide a stronger platform for CFL’s customers to continue their significant and future growth.

Utilizing more than 25 years of experience, Freeman will oversee installation troubleshooting, technical support, maintenance recommendations and training for CFL. “With Jim Freeman in this role, we anticipate this will foster future growth and confidence across all of our flooring categories,” Frith said.

Freeman started in the industry as an installer in his family’s business when he was a teenager. He has many years of experience working with both residential and commercial flooring applications, and has held prior tech and installation management positions. “I’m looking forward to working with this incredible team,” Freeman said. “With the new plant in Calhoun coming on board soon, I’m excited to be a part of the continued expansion of CFL and their innovative product offerings.”

CFL recently updated its executive team in the Calhoun plant. In 2020, CFL committed to invest more than $70 million in the Calhoun manufacturing facility in its objective to globalize the company and improve manufacturing efficiency.
