HomeNewsShaw announces winter market dates

Dalton—Shaw announced today the location and dates of the company’s 2011 Winter Market Events.  The theme of the winter markets will be, “Connection,” and according to Kathy Young, Shaw’s director of marketing, the events will introduce soft and hard surface products to the market as well as beautiful displays and competitive programs.  The events will also provide a positive relationship-building and networking forum for Shaw associates and retailers.

During Shaw’s winter market events, the company will unveil many introductions within the successful Anso nylon, Evertouch and ClearTouch offerings. Introductions to the successful Epic hardwood collection will be shown, as well as new visuals in other hardwood offerings, laminate and tile & stone. In conjunction with Shaw’s hard surface companies, Anderson and Zickgraf, several stunning new hardwood visuals will be introduced. Additionally, this year Anderson Hardwood will join in the market events with a more prominent presence.

According to Young, the market’s Connection theme is based on the concept of a circle of support. “The market is challenging in most regions of the country. However, successful retailers are looking for a connection with a company who is still delivering the best products, best service and best tools available,” she said. “We’re supporting each other in coming out on the winning end of this downturn and that’s what the Shaw winter market events are all about. We’re looking forward to spending time with our retailers. We have innovative offerings, program and marketing tools to serve all areas of the country, and we’re excited to share this with our customers.”
