COMMACK, N.Y.—CBC Flooring announced Kopmeyer and Associates Inc. (KAI), based in Kansas City, will now represent all five CBC Flooring brands in the states of Kansas and western Missouri.

“As we continue to establish ourselves as the premiere single source supplier with the best collection of eco-friendly brands in the industry, our agents and distributors are key in this effort,” said Jeff Collum, director of flooring for CBC. “KAI is a great addition to our team.”

KAI started in the furniture industry but diversified into wall and floor coverings about eight years ago to take advantage of the demand for sustainable interiors, according to principal John Kopmeyer. “Our company is family owned and we’ve been able to grow despite the economic downtown.”

“We are looking forward to representing CBC’s product lines. They have some good green products and there’s a lot of choice we can offer architects and designers with the TOLI line,” Kopmeyer said. “People have fallen in love with Halo Floors, and Indelval rubber flooring opens up a new market for us. This partnership is a good fit and will get us into more doors.”
