Shanghai—Välinge Innovation China moved into new offices in Jing’an District, here. The move, the company said, was triggered by the increased organization in China in support of the growing number of licensees and the addition of a showroom for the upcoming launch of Välinge Flooring in Asia.

“We are proud of and well-known for the extensive support that we offer our partners, our licensees and their customers to decrease their time to market and bring them turnkey solutions related to floor and wall locking systems, material saving technologies, click furniture technologies as well as surface technologies,” said Magnus Holgesson, vice regional manager China/Asia. “China and the Asia region has for a long time been important for Välinge Innovation, and with current travel restrictions, strengthening our local presence is a key strategy. Our commitment to the region and the support we can offer our partners and licensees will continue to be of prime importance going forward.”

Established in China since 2007, Välinge is actively supporting more than 200 licensees in China and in the APAC region. Adding to the Support Center established in Kunshan in December 2019, the larger office will serve as the support platform for technology sales and support as well as a showroom and regional headquarter for the sales and distribution of Välinge Flooring products.

The team of eight professionals already in place locally in China has also been complemented with the following members: Francis Li, sales manager, Välinge Flooring China/Asia; Raissa Leduc, compliance and market support China/Asia; Nancy Guo, business development, Threespine, China.
