Mohawk said Pergo Extreme Ultra will feature RealPlank Technology, the company’s innovative realism technology system that helps achieve the most authentic look and feel in LVT. Through natural edge finishes that create a realistic transition from plank to plank, paired with authentic color variation and deep textures that follow nature’s true-to-life patterns, RealPlank Technology compares to genuine materials, according to the company.
The Ultra tier also features WetProtect technology, a waterproof system said to deliver the ultimate protection with water-tight joints that prevent subfloor damage and a unique waterproof finish that traps moisture on the surface. As the only waterproof flooring system in the industry that comes with a standard lifetime subfloor warranty, WetProtect provides full coverage waterproofing.
