Crossville, Tenn.—Crossville has named Mark Shannon executive vice president of sales and DeWayne Galey executive vice president, CFO.

Shannon’s responsibilities have expanded to include the oversight of marketing. “Our goal is to increase synergy between strategic sales and strategic marketing, which will ultimately foster greater success for both Crossville and its customers,” said John Smith, president and CEO. “Mark, a Crossville veteran, has the leadership and management skills to make this happen.”

Galey’s areas of responsibility will include finance, IT and the Crossville Tile & Stone distributor locations.

Dewayne Galey

“DeWayne has been responsible for Crossville since it opened its first distributor location almost a decade ago,” Smith said.

However, Crossville has grown rapidly with the recent acquisition of 10 locations of Master Tile’s Building Products division in Texas and Oklahoma, added to Crossville’s initial acquisition of Master Tile’s Eastern division locations in central Florida in 2010, plus previously acquired locations in North Carolina and Alabama. He will now oversee a total of 21 Crossville Tile & Stone locations.

“All locations will be officially changing their names to Crossville Tile & Stone,” Galey said. “This is an exceptional plus for Crossville as the Texas and Oklahoma markets are recovering rapidly and there are great opportunities for expansion and growth in these areas. It also enables Crossville to offer the best service possible to the design and construction communities.”

Smith noted that the expansion of Crossville Tile & Stone has increased its product requirements, which has resulted in the need for Frank Douglas, vice president of business development, to focus on product acquisition, vendor relations and new business development for both Crossville Inc. and Crossville Tile & Stone.”
