The entire Ascend Rugs collection can now be carried easily in a briefcase, ready to be positioned, resized and photographed to find the perfect match for any room. The New Zealand-based company has launched an augmented reality (AR) application for the iPad, making it easier than ever to trial and select from their stunning range of handmade wool rugs. Created with both interior designers and the consumer in mind, the app allows any rug from the collection to be seen, positioned and placed on the floor of a room. A variety of options can be viewed without the actual sample in hand and the app features a find a local dealer section making the whole process from selection to purchase incredibly fast and easy.
