Johnson City, Tenn. – Mullican Flooring, a leading manufacturer of quality hardwood floors, has added a new collection of engineered flooring called LincolnShire to its growing roster of  “Made in the USA” products.

Mullican recently moved its headquarters to a new location in Johnson City, Tenn., where the company began manufacturing engineered products for the first time on American soil. With the newest collection, the company now offers consumers two lines of American-made engineered flooring – LincolnShire and HillShire.

HillShire, introduced last year, contains 10 engineered selections. Mullican also makes hundreds of solid products in both domestic and exotic wood species – all produced in U.S. plants.

The LincolnShire Collection, a prefinished, 3/8-inch thick flooring, features nine selections in oak, maple and hickory – all available in five-inch widths. Each product is hand sculpted and carries Mullican’s 15-year Alpha A’lumina finish.

Current LincolnShire selections include hickory winchester, hickory saddle, hickory champagne, maple autumn, maple cappuccino, maple sunset, oak pioneer, oak laredo and oak sangria.

“We’re pleased to expand our engineered production in Tennessee,” says Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The recent changes are part of our current effort to reposition for future growth and to shift segments of our Asian-made manufacturing to U.S. soil. At the same time, we’re pleased to be assisting our own Central Appalachian region with job creation and economic growth.”

Mullican Flooring is headquartered in Johnson City, Tenn., with additional manufacturing sites in Norton, Va.; Holland, N.Y.; and Ronceverte, W.Va.
