Dalton—Kent Clauson joined Mohawk Industries as vice president of brand management, a new position to the company. He will take responsibility for all brand channels in both Mohawk Commercial and Residential.

“Kent brings exceptional experience and expertise to our marketing team,” said David Duncan, Vice President of Marketing.  “He’ll work closely with our brand managers to make sure we have the strategy and positioning in place to take our already powerful brands to the next level.”

As the former general manager of marketing for flooring with Armstrong World Industries, he led a team that developed and executed marketing strategies to all its distribution channels across residential, retail, building and commercial markets. Prior to this position he was commercial flooring channel manager at Armstrong with management experience from American woodmark and REHAU.

“Mohawk offers many of the strongest, most recognized brands in flooring,” Clauson said.  “Effectively managing our brands is critical to protect and enhance the tremendous equity they have in the marketplace.”
