ST. LOUIS—In accord with the financial times, the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) is offering a new financial service for members. With the help of financial management firm B2B CFO, NWFA is giving small to mid-market companies the chance to better understand and control their finances, said Ed Korczak, NWFA’s CEO and executive director.

B2B CFO is a firm geared toward helping start-up, small and mid-sized businesses find financial clarity and set goals. Founded in 1987, the part-time CFO company services 43 states in the U.S. and is a place to outsource a chief financial officer for companies without an in-house CFO.

Through the association, there are three main offerings, the first of which is a financial hotline. NWFA members can call 800.422.4556 with any fiscal related questions including but not limited to topics like profit margins, establishing pricing, bank relations, understanding working capital, budgeting and forecasting, employee compensation and strategic planning. This is a free service to NWFA members, according to Korczak.

The second service is a financial analysis that looks at up to three years of monetary

records and data. In this approach, members are alerted to any potential risks or red flags, and given suggestions for improvement. This option costs $325.

The third service is an onsite financial assessment, in which a report is generated by

interviewing company personnel and accounting process review. The pricing for this option is to be determined by company and B2B CFO, Korczak said.

While NWFA has offered management consulting in the past, this is the association’s first time to offer an in-depth financial management assistance program, Korczak finished.

For more information about B2B CFO’s offerings for NWFA members, call the association at 800.422.4556. To learn more about B2B CFO and what it has to offer, call 602.296.6888.
