HomeNewsNALFA launches blog for consumers

WASHINGTON—Blogging has quickly become part of many Americans’ reading habits as they turn to the Internet for information on anything and everything. To better connect with and educate consumers about laminate flooring, the industry, products and trends the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) has created the blog, “All About Laminate Flooring.”
Located at allaboutlaminateflooring.blogspot.com, Bill Dearing, NALFA’s president, said the blog is the first step in the organization’s vision to “reach out to consumers and directly educate her about certified products and the benefits of laminate flooring.”
The site will feature educational information, answers to consumer questions/concerns, industry news—such as a link to Floor Covering News’ Web site—and NALFA member product information.
“The blog facilitates discussion and encourages consumers to ask questions and provide feedback on their experiences with laminate flooring. It will also feature photos, podcasts, articles from guest authors and links to additional resources. Visitors can sub- scribe to the blog and receive instant updates when new posts are added,” Dearing said.
