Manchester, N.H.—With an ongoing pandemic, CCA Global Partners said it has reevaluated its 2021 in-person Convention plans. The Winter Convention, originally scheduled for January, will now be held in Denver during the first week of May 2021. With this change, CCA will also be canceling its Summer Convention slated for August 2021.

“Our virtual Convention, LIFT, was a great success in June and allowed us to get important updates and information to our members quickly as the pandemic unfolded and businesses need to react quickly,” shared Howard Brodsky, chairman and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “However, we know that our members benefit more from the networking and engagement offered during a live, in-person event.”

The May 2021 Convention will include CCA’s retail flooring groups Carpet One Floor & Home (US & Canada), Flooring America, Flooring Canada and The Floor Trader. CCA will continue to work closely with the Gaylord Rockies and its event team to ensure its event aligns with all regulations and safety protocols at the time, the group said.

Until the groups can meet in person, CCA said it will continue to facilitate virtual meetings, networking activities and reach out through its member service teams. The company said it has already tapped into technology to stay connected with members and help members connect with each other. It plans to increase and enhance these efforts over the next six months.

“We continue to support our members with marketing that speaks to today’s customer, training that keeps stores running safely and best-in-class business operations,” said Rick Bennet, co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. “And we will keep our members engaged and connected until we can come together in person.”
