Mercy Medical AngelsCalhoun, Ga.—Mannington Commercial announced its renewed partnership with Mercy Medical Angels, the nation’s largest provider of charitable long-distance transportation to medical care for those in financial need. Since the partnership began in March 2020, Mannington Commercial has donated 3% of the purchase price of each square yard of products from the Bloom Collection. This donation has translated into a record 101,645 free trips to critical and lifesaving medical treatment for patients and their caregivers across the country. It also represents a 19% increase from the total number of trips provided prior to the partnership.

“We are passionate about Mercy Medical Angels’ mission and are proud to continue our partnership to help patients and their families across the country reach their critical medical treatments,” said Ian Campbell, business manager, commercial sheet at Mannington Commercial. “One of our company’s core values is ‘care.’ This partnership directly speaks to that value and how we strive to be stewards of our communities and give back where we can.”

James B. Godwin, president and CEO of Mercy Medical Angels, added, “Our partnership reminds us that every trip provided represents a person going through a medical and financial crisis—and how Mannington is standing right beside us helping save so many lives.”

The Bloom Collection speaks to the ever-present human instinct to connect with the environment and other living things. Each style of Bloom—Wildflower, Meander and Wellspring—is available in eight colorways, encompassing warm and cool neutrals and sophisticated blues and greens and features soothing biophilic and nature-inspired designs. Bloom is available in 6-, 9- and 12-foot widths for ease of installation and less waste.

The Bloom Collection is designed to contribute to human well-being and to a project’s sustainability goals. This heterogeneous sheet has a non-ortho-phthalate construction, is FloorScore Certified and its embodied carbon is offset by 105%. Featuring an industry-wide third-party Type III EPD, the collection may also contribute to LEED credits. With Quantum Guard Elite, Mannington Commercial’s industry-leading performance technology, Bloom delivers best-in-class resistance to abrasions, stains and slipping and is said to be proven to clean better than other products with no need for polishing. The Bloom Collection carries a limited 12-year commercial warranty and limited 12-year Quantum Guard Elite wear warranty.
