DallasDal-Tile was named the Business of the Year by the Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce this month. The honor recognizes the company’s outstanding efforts in philanthropy and community involvement over the past year.

“Dal-Tile is an important member of the business community in Dallas,” said Kathleen Melton, president of the Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce. “We appreciate their ongoing support of the Chamber and their contributions to the betterment of the community.”

Among the efforts that earned Dal-Tile the award were the company’s participation in the annual food drive, donations of money and furniture to the Chamber’s new office and partnership in an Angel Program to support and encourage entrepreneurs.

“Dallas has been good to Dal-Tile, and we feel it is important to give back and be good corporate neighbors,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, senior marketing director for Dal-Tile. “We are humbled and honored by this recognition and we thank the Chamber of Commerce for their support.”

Dal-Tile has been a member of the Dallas business community since the company’s founding in 1947.
