LOS ANGELES—Bentley Prince Street has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the fifth consecutive year. The honor was announced during an awards luncheon at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. Seventy-five businesses were selected as nominees in three categories: small (15-24 employees); medium (25-249 employees), and large (250+ employees) businesses. This is Bentley Prince Street’s first year in the large category, having been honored in the medium business category for the past four years.

“We are extremely proud to be recognized as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles,” said Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street. “This honor is a testament to our associates whose passion and commitment for our mission is the secret to our success. To know that your associates are excited to come to work makes me excited to work harder for them.”

Bentley Prince Street has been recognized for five consecutive years as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles due in large part to its dedication to putting people first and empowering them to utilize their individual talents and strengths to be more successful. Associates at Bentley Prince Street enjoy many programs, such as wellness and community service, designed to provide a work life balance and a sense of pride, which has resulted in fewer sick days and increased productivity.

Associate benefits include an on-site fitness facility, personal trainers and nutritionists, as well as healthy-living seminars and challenges. Another program called Quality Utilizing Employee Suggestions and Teamwork (QUEST) has been successful in ensuring that associates have a voice and know it is valued. QUEST encourages and rewards associates for contributing suggestions that will improve productivity and sustainability. Bentley Prince Street associates also know their top strengths as a result of its strengths based learning, development and coaching programs, and they are encouraged to put those strengths into action.

Finally, reflecting its focus on environmental and social sustainability, Bentley Prince Street offers a myriad of volunteer and philanthropic opportunities through organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Tree People.

The Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group hold the annual celebration in order to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Los Angeles. The Best Places to Work in Los Angeles program is open to all companies that fulfill the following requirements: have at least 15 employees in Los Angeles County; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business; be a publicly or privately held business; have a facility in Los Angeles County; and have been in business for one full year. The award winners are chosen based on a selection process that includes an evaluation of company workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics combined with employee surveys that measure their experience.
