Mercerville, N.J.—Congoleum announced today that it will increase prices 4% to 6% on all Congoleum products, effective on shipments March 1, 2011.

“We have been experiencing significant cost increases in key raw materials for the past three months,” said Dennis Jarosz, senior vice president, sales and marketing. “In addition to that, the raw materials used in both our tile and sheet products are projected to continue to escalate for the balance of the first half of 2011. As a result, we find it necessary to take a price increase at this time”.
