Dalton— Shaw Floors has joined the company’s two premier divisions, Tuftex Carpets of California and Anderson Hardwood, to bring Shaw Design Center retailers an exclusive and powerful new display program called Color Coordinates. The Color Coordinates program offers a wide selection of carpet and hardwood styles and colors. The collection includes 14 different carpet styles in 48 common colors, resulting in 672 carpet options for consumers to consider. Additionally, the collection includes 16 beautiful hardwood styles in a variety of colors that compliment the carpet offerings.

According to Tuftex Vice President of Marketing Bob Burton, Tuftex is focused on elevating the brand with retailers and offering more in-depth support tools in 2011 and this commitment begins with the third-generation Color Coordinates selling-system. “The Color Coordinates program is designed to be a one stop carpet and hardwood selection destination for the consumer by offering the best products at reasonable prices in a merchandising environment that simplifies the process,” Burton said. “The system attracts consumers with an impressive presence, complete with high-end finishes like molding and lighting, and makes it easy for retail sales professionals to up-sell the consumer.”

Color plays an integral part in creating the ambiance of a room and is one of the most defining aspects of home décor. Both Anderson and Tuftex are known for leadership in color, style and design. Color Coordinates includes mature tones that work well with an earthy palette and range from warm beige and soft gray to mossy green and rich chocolate. Color Coordinates is made with Stainmaster Nylon carpet fiber for superior performance, quality and resilience, and the collection features three different fiber offerings, including Luxerell, Tactesse  ExtraBody II   in friezes, textures, twists, loops, velvets and patterns. Each Color Coordinates carpet includes Stainmaster stain treatment for superior protection from spills and soiling as well as SoftBac Platinum backing for unmatched softness and flexibility. Additionally, the products feature Simply Fresh™, Shaw’s new patented co-application process results in total fiber coverage that provides excellent stain and soil protection while also reducing airborne household orders.

Represented in attractive wings on the furniture-like Color Coordinates display, products by Anderson Hardwood compliment the west coast carpet offerings and represent the company’s leading wood styling. Pickle Barrel is a hand-painted red oak from the Yosemite Village collection, and Woodland Hills (hickory) and Frazier Park (maple) feature Anderson’s signature hand-scraping craftsmanship. Lake Forest Hickory and Lake Forest Oak feature a wire-brushed technique that lends an old world feel to the products. The collection represents a wide-variety of widths, thicknesses, species and finishes for different lifestyles and preferences.

Plus, Anderson’s products are treated with the company’s exclusive LusterLock Ultra finish. According to research, LusterLock is up to six times more resistant to scuffs and abrasions than competitive flooring products and gives today’s busy consumer peace of mind regarding the durability and life of her Anderson floor.

“Anderson Hardwood is proud to partner with Tuftex in the next generation of the successful Color Coordinates system,” said Don Finkell, CEO, Shaw Hardwood. “Anderson’s products represent quality and craftsmanship and appeal to a higher-end demographic much like Tuftex, so it makes sense that the products live together in an environment that improves the selling process for the retail sales professional and shopping process for the consumer. Best of all, all products from both Anderson and Tuftex are made in the USA.”

Aside from leading products, the Color Coordinates selling system is supported by a host of retailer materials. Marketing materials, yearly promotions, program rebate, co-op opportunities and more are available to retailers, and the Tuftex Color Coordinates Loyalty program is designed to incentivize retail sales professionals.
