VIKEN, SWEDEN—Välinge Innovation and German floor covering manufacturer Parador GmbH & Co., KG, announced the companies intend to cooperate around Välinge Wood Powder Technology. Parador plans to take advantage of the unique features the Powder Technology offers and introduce the nadura flooring.
“We are very proud to welcome Parador into the selected group of partners in the powder technology field,” said Niclas Håkansson, CEO, Välinge Innovation AB. “Parador is an innovative company that is strong in both design and marketing, so we are from Välinge’s side very pleased to have them as partners in this technology.”
Välinge Wood Powder technology was first launched as a surface technology where the new surface layer consists of a uniform mix of wood fibers, pigments, binding agents and hard particles. The new technology developed by Välinge had its first cooperation announced in January 2010 when Tarkett signed a license during the Domotex Hannover fair.

Parador will also enter into a cooperation with MeisterWerke Shulte GmbH, a company that holds a license for WFF, around the new product category that will be marketed under the nadura name. The two well known flooring producers announced it’s cooperation in relation to the Branchentag Holz 2011 in Cologne, 2nd – 3rd of November.
“We are always open to new technologies”, says Volkmar Halbe, Chairman of the Managing Board of Parador, “so we are really looking forward to taking part in the development of a new surface technology. And as we are known as a design trendsetter, we are sure we will set a creative impulse.”
