Carpeteria recycles 100% of carpet, padding

Lancaster, Calif.—Carpeteria, owned by brothers Barry and Larry White, now recycles 100% of its carpet and padding through Los Angeles Fiber.

Santa Clarita Flooring, also owned by the White family, recycles 100% of its carpet and padding as well.

In addition, for the second consecutive year, Carpeteria is offering a $1-per-yard rebate for customers who purchase Stainmaster carpet and want to recycle their old carpet.

The recycled padding is chopped up and made into new pads while the carpet is recycled into car parts.
