Congoleum vinyl flooring to see price increase

HomeNewsCongoleum vinyl flooring to see price increase

Mercerville, N.J.—Congoleum will initiate a 3% to 5% price increase across several categories of residential and commercial vinyl flooring products in the United States and Canada. The pricing action will go into effect in August.

“We continue to experience significant increases across virtually every aspect of our operations,” said Chris O’Connor, president and CEO of Congoleum. “Key raw materials such as resins, plasticizers and limestone have all increased and are expected to have continued upward cost pressures through the balance of the year. Raw materials increases, combined with higher energy, labor and transportation costs have, despite our best efforts, surpassed our ability to absorb their full impact.”
