Rome, Ga.—After serving 16 years as president of Foss Floors, industry veteran Mike DeGrace has announced his retirement. Brian Warren, EVP of sales and marketing, will assume the role of president of Foss Floors.

“It’s hard to believe that in 2006, when AJ Nassar asked me to join the company, Foss had no flooring business and no facilities in Georgia,” DeGrace said. “Now, some short 15 years later, Foss Floors is recognized as the leader in indoor/outdoor carpeting, rugs and tiles with products found almost in every major retailer nationwide. We are proud to have three state-of-the-art facilities in Georgia with hundreds of dedicated team members, and in just a few years, we grew the flooring business from zero to now being recognized as the U.S. industry leader in non-woven flooring products.”

A flooring career that spans some 50 years, DeGrace’s background included executive management positions with Shaw Industries, Beaulieu, Image Industries and the Maxim Group before joining Foss Floors. Degrace will continue to serve Foss as a board member and partner.

“I have known Brian for close to 30 years and I asked him to join the Foss team some 10 years ago,” DeGrace added. “He was instrumental in the rapid growth of our company and the development of our customer base and product offering. I am confident his passion and drive for success will continue to fuel Foss’s growth and take the company to new heights.”

Warren stated, “I am sad to be reaching the end of working side by side with Mike but excited for him to finally enjoy a wonderful retirement. I am honored to continue his legacy at Foss and add to the great foundation that he built.”
