performance vinyl tileLancaster, Pa.—Ecore has launched its first performance vinyl tile (PVT), Heritage Motivate, a new high-performance and visually appealing flooring surface. According to the company, the offering was designed to be safer, quieter and more ergonomic than traditional LVT products.

“We’ve created a vinyl tile product that simply performs better,” explained Bo Barber, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Ecore. “With Heritage Motivate, you get realistic wood visuals with the same, exceptional Ecore performance you expect but in plank format. This groundbreaking new offering is sure to be a transformative product in the flooring industry.”

The performance vinyl tile features a fiberglass-reinforced 2mm vinyl surface layer bonded to a 5mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) base layer, a 21-mil wear layer that provides commercial grade durability paired with the in-demand looks of realistic wood. The true-to-life visuals of the surface layer offer natural wood variation among the planks for an authentic woodgrain look with backing by a Motivate base layer to provide excellent safety and ergonomic performance.

Heritage Motivate is said to be safer and more ergonomic than traditional LVT products with an absorption of impact energy (force reduction) of 10.6% and a useful return of impact energy (energy restitution) of 66.7%. Ideal for a full range of interior applications from health and wellness facilities to offices, education, fitness spaces, schools, retail locations, living spaces and more, it’s easy to install, ergonomic underfoot and easy to clean and maintain.

Available in 10 natural wood tones, Heritage Motivate planks provide a safe, durable, high-performance and visually appealing flooring solution perfect for nearly any space.
