Saint-Georges—Mirage celebrates its 40th anniversary this month. From its beginnings as a small, local manufacturer in the early 80s, the company has earned many awards for quality and design and is a top-ranked manufacturer of prefinished hardwood flooring in North America.
Mirage has won numerous recognitions in several industry surveys of the quality of its brands, right from the beginning. The floors designed and manufactured by Mirage are distributed across North America through more than 1,200 specialized dealers and are renowned for their quality.
“Since our company started 40 years ago, we have grown to be North America’s most reputable hardwood flooring manufacturer, with a workforce of nearly 750 employees in our 5 state-of-the-art facilities,” said company president, Pierre Thabet. “The enthusiasm, commitment and dedication of our employees combined with the trust of our strategic partners got us where we are today and will allow us to keep raising the bar for years to come. This journey that began in 1983 has been defined by a commitment to the wood-processing industry, transparent and long-standing business relationships and engagement in local community, education, sports and cultural initiatives.
