Salmon Arm, British Columbia – DINOFLEX group has been named a 2012 platinum, gold and silver award winner for several of their products in the Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) competition, sponsored by Design Journal magazine.

In the last 18 years, ADEX has become the largest and most prestigious awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade.

“The 2011‐12 ADEX Awards attracted upwards of 500 companies submitting more than 2,800 innovative new products,” said John Platter, executive director of ADEX. “The ADEX Award has recognized many outstanding product designs over the years DINOFLEX group has earned its place among that elite group.”

Awards were given to the following DINOFLEX products:

1. Custom Design Flooring & Logos wins a Platinum Award’

2. DINOFLEX Equine Tiles win a Platinum Award’

3. NuVista Exterior Tiles wins a Platinum Award’

4. Comfort Cushion Acoustic Underlay wins a Gold Award’

5. Evolution Commercial Flooring Tiles wins a Gold Award’

6. DINOFLEX Playground Tiles win a Gold Award’

These environmental sustainable tiles are made from recycled rubber and have a low life cycle cost, leading to increased savings.

“Given that the ADEX Awards are one of the largest recognition programs in the design trade, we couldn’t be more proud to have had our products chosen, and we are incredibly excited to have been recognized”, said Terry MacLeod, CEO of DINOFLEX group.

All of the entries in each of the ADEX categories have potential for three award levels of platinum, gold or silver. Judges awarded points based on form, function, value, and fitness for particular purpose. Total points earned determined each winner’s award level. All Platinum, Gold and Silver level products will be published in the 2012 ADEX Winners Issue of Design Journal, the international resource for interior designers, architects and facility managers.
