CALHOUN, Ga. — Mannington has named David Sheehan vice president of the company’s commercial LVT business. Sheehan will be responsible for the growth of all Mannington Commercial LVT, including Amtico.

“With the acquisition of Amtico International by Mannington, we have become the market leader in LVT as part of Mannington’s strategy of providing choices that work for resilient surfaces,” said Tyrone Johnson, senior vice president of commercial hard surfaces. “The category is a tremendous growth opportunity for Mannington, and we are delighted that David brings his deep experience at management, competitive intelligence, product development and leading teams to the task ahead.”

Sheehan brings 17 years of floor covering experience, beginning with Pergo’s operations in Asia. For the past 10 years, he has led Mannington’s residential division into a leadership position in LVT.

“Working on the residential business, I was part of a very talented team that brought Mannington into LVT, and in less than nine years we took it from zero to becoming a market leader,” Sheehan said. “I am excited about the next challenge, helping Mannington Commercial extend its leadership position.”

Sheehan holds a degree in political science and Japanese from North Carolina State University.
