Willemstad, Curaco — Innovations4Flooring, a new installation technology company, announced two new products—TripleLock and Click4U. The  company said the offerings provide a unique drop lock installation technique for flooring panels that eliminates the need for an additional insert on the short side.

According to the company, this elimination provides manufacturers with the possibility to improve productivity levels as well as to reduce their costs and carbon footprint. For both solutions several international patent applications have been filed. For the TripleLock solution, patents have already been granted in Europe and the USA.

TripleLock provides a drop-lock installation innovation while Click4U provides an angle system on the long side and a drop-lock on the short side. The solution is suitable for laminate, LVT, wood plastic composite and wooden flooring panels.

Innovations4Flooring, created in 2013, comprises a highly experienced team of international industry professionals and receives strong investment from Dutch private equity group Ramphastos.
Leading the company is John Rietveldt, who previously worked as global president for Tarkett. Heading up R&D is Eddy Boucké, technical founder of Berry Floors. Boucké also previously worked as a consultant at Vålinge and Kronospan.

Rietveldt, CEO of Innovations4Flooring said, “We believe the global flooring market is ready for change and our innovations will play a significant role in this huge industry transformation. The patent market has been reserved for just a handful of players for almost 20 years. With some important patents soon to expire, our drop lock one piece offers the industry a faster, more cost-effective way to manufacture environmentally friendly solutions in a sustainable way. And in a highly competitive market, the introduction of a drop lock solution on the short side means that installation for end-users is significantly facilitated.”
