HomeNewsShaw expands website with Web Studio

Dalton—Shaw will expand its website on July 1st with Shaw Web Studio, a suite of online products for flooring retailers. According to Misty Hodge, Shaw’s web services manager, many retailers have difficulty finding the time and technology expertise to maintain a website. “Shaw Web Studio offers a selection of the industry’s leading technological tools in order to generate qualified sales leads for a retailer’s store.” Specifically designed for Shaw retailers, it offers 20 design templates that highlight its brands with images and information on a technically sound and search-engine friendly platform.

Specifically, it will offer the following solutions:

  • Websites. Complete sites with ready-to-use and customizable content, retailers can be up and running in minutes for $95 per month.
  • Product catalog. Continuously updated with carpet, area rug, hardwood, laminate, and tile and stone products, the catalog is customizable and maintenance free.
  • Data stream. An automatic delivery of product data and images keeps Shaw product information up-to-date.
  • Select content. Information add-ons offer features like interactive microsites on the benefits of Anso nylon. Additions are currently being made.

“Our goal is to expand on the success of shawfloors.com and allow retailers to capitalize on this success with positive and informative web experiences for their respective consumers,” said Hodge. “Shaw Web Studio will dramatically help retailers in creating and maintaining professional websites that are attainable and affordable, with the ultimate goal of delivering ready-to-purchase consumers to their stores.”
