Lancaster, Pa.—Ecore International, a company that transforms reclaimed waste into unique surfaces, has donated 2,200 square feet of flooring to the Lancaster Country Club for the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open. Ecore supplied Pinnacle, which features a carpet surface fusion bonded to a recycled rubber backing, that was installed in two trailers on the grounds of the club and will be used by officials during the event taking place July 6-12.

“Pinnacle is a proprietary blend of fibers composed of recycled plastic bottles designed for commercial, industrial and retail applications,” said Arthur Dodge III, CEO and president of Ecore. “These properties made Pinnacle the perfect flooring solution for the U.S. Women’s Open’s official headquarters, since [people] will be running in and out of the trailers frequently and it will be able to stand up to the abuse.”
