Milwaukee, Wis.—Shannon Specialty Floors, a high performance manufacturer and supplier of flooring within the commercial market, has partnered with Spartan Surfaces, a sales and consulting group specializing in commercial flooring.

Spartan Surfaces will position three agents with Shannon products in Illinois including the greater Chicago area. This partnership will include the full line of Shannon products, including Teknoflor, Tuf Stuf and barenaked brands.

“This partnership was bred out of a unique opportunity we saw that would benefit both parties,” said Jeff Collum, president of Shannon Specialty Floors. “Both Shannon and Spartan have a strong presence within this market and together, they become complementary, efficient and very well respected.”

In addition, Shannon has extended the representation of its products with Design Materials, a Pasadena, Calif.-based independent agency. The agency began selling the full line of Shannon products earlier this year within the Southern California markets. The agreement will extend Design Materials’ representation to also include the Las Vegas, Arizona and New Mexico markets.
