Dalton–Industry veteran Katie Ford has joined Shaw Floors as the company’s new hard surfaces marketing director. Ford will be tasked with developing innovative marketing solutions for all hard surfaces product categories.

Prior to joining Shaw, Ford was with Beaulieu of America, serving in various sales and leadership positions, including leader of sales training at the corporate headquarters in Dalton. Additionally, Ford spent several years at Mohawk Flooring working as a West Coast territory manager in the company’s builder division.

“Katie’s professionalism and enthusiasm are engaging and welcoming,” said Kathy Young, vice president of marketing services. “She’s made an immediate, significant impact to the business and we look forward to her leadership and industry expertise to help drive additional growth and profitability of our hard surfaces categories.”

Ford added, “I feel blessed to join an industry powerhouse like Shaw. There has never been a more exciting time for hard surface flooring products and I am deeply passionate about developing the right mix of marketing tools to help accelerate our retail partners’ ability to sell more hard surface products.”

Ford is based in Shaw’s Dalton company headquarters.
