Dalton—In a continuing effort to lessen the impact of COVID-19, Engineers Floors said it has decided to stop its manufacturing operations effective immediately. This temporary shut-down is planned for one week. The company said its sales, administration and distribution facilities will remain open.

Engineered Floors said leadership continues to closely monitor the situation in order to assess and respond quickly as events connected to COVID-19 continue to develop. It will continue to apply CDC safety and preventative measures within all facilities including social distancing, work-from-home, facility cleaning/sanitization and good personal hygiene practices.

“We also wanted to extend our thoughts and prayers to those families who have been impacted by COVID-19 within our community and express our sincere appreciation to those dedicated and committed to helping others during this unprecedented time,” the company said in a statement.
