CFIOrlando, Fla.—The International Certified Flooring Installation Association (CFI) will hold its 29th annual Convention & Expo on Aug. 2-4, 2022, at Rosen Shingle Creek here, under the theme “Shaping the Future Together.”

CFI’s Annual Convention & Expo attracts professionals from every sector of the flooring industry. According to CFI, everyone from the dealer side to the inspectors recognizes it as the show “where all the business surrounding installation happens.” The show includes debut products and new installation techniques from leading suppliers and manufacturers, new tools and equipment are unveiled and floor covering installation professionals can network and participate in educational seminars and hands on workshops.

According to CFI executive director, Robert Varden, the energy and attendance, especially from younger installers, reflect the organization’s recruitment efforts and live training this year. “We’ve had a phenomenal year,” Varden said. “We’ve formed partnerships and created programs with organizations and institutions to lead the way in reaching the next generation of installers and we’re excited about the momentum we’ve built. Last year’s convention not only drew more young installers but also saw an increase in retailers, distributors, inspectors and manufacturers. This increased engagement with the entire industry is essential for the future of the industry, as we can only shape it together.”

Varden also said the Convention & Expo gives a chance to bring CFI members together. “The heart of CFI is its members and this show is our chance to bring them all together,” he said. “A certain magic happens when in-person connections are made, whether sharing laughter with old friends, networking with new people or interacting with industry experts.”

Registration and updates will be available on the convention website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
