HomeNewsSurya names new senior vice president

Calhoun, Ga.—Paul Sullivan has been named senior vice president of sales/national accounts for Surya Rugs, according to Satya Tiwari, president of the rug manufacturing company.  “He will develop a product line aimed at national accounts and will build a team of independent sales representatives specializing in this market segment,” Tiwari said.

In his new post, Sullivan will be responsible for the development and growth of Surya’s national accounts in the home accessories division. Mr. Sullivan has thirty years of account expertise and is adept at growing business. “It’s very exciting to be part of the Surya team as they continue to build upon a very successful platform within the home accessory category.”

Paul Sullivan gains inspiration from well managed companies with an entrepreneurial philosophy. “Promise nothing that can’t be accomplished on time” and “recognizing that the customer is the foundation of success” are twin beliefs that anchor his professional style. Paul brings expertise and a positive attitude that will establish a winning team for national accounts.  “With Sullivan’s appointment, Surya is taking a much more aggressive stance to penetrate the mass-market channel,” Tiwari said.
