HomeNewsShaw introduces first sale on Grand Canyon hardwood

DALTON—Shaw Industries is introducing the first-ever sale on its Grand Canyon hardwood collection. Running from Sept. 15 to Dec. 31, the sale is aimed at consumers. In 2011, Grand Canyon has been featured in House Beautiful magazine’s Kitchen of the Year with a reputation as a high-end product, featuring a sustainability story the buyer can relate to.

“This has been quite the year for our Grand Canyon hardwood collection,” said Kevin Thompson, Shaw’s hardwood product category manager. “It’s a perfect combination of timeworn craftsmanship and elegance, and easily one of the most beautiful products in the marketplace today. With its national acclaim this year, we’ve been able to expand the production capacity and offer this great sale. We know our dealers are going to be very excited to offer their customers this impressive discount.”

Shaw’s Grand Canyon product features an 8-in wide plank made from hand-picked recycled hickory hardwood, which would otherwise end up in a landfill or burned. The premium select planks are painstakingly hand-scraped and stained to reveal a handsomely defined grain pattern. Stylish colors and fresh texture emphasizes the natural wood grain and makes a bold statement in the home.
